Vance will be leading a group departing from the Pilot Travel Center at 5888 Hwy 53, Braselton, GA 30517. Carlos will be leading a 2nd group departing from Papa's Place, 3651 Dawson Forest Rd E, Dawsonville, GA 30534 at 9:40am. Winder Women's Club @ 6:00pm 15 W Midland Avenue Winder, GA January 1 New Year Day Lunch Ride! Arrangements have been finalized for the Chapter S New Years Day Ride and Lunch!!! We will be eating at the lodge at Amicalola Falls (yes, we ate here several years ago). We will try to arrive about 12:45pm, as our scheduled meal time is 1pm (as to allow those who welcome in the New Year a better opportunity to attend). Hopefully, the weather will cooperate and allow some of us to ride our motorcycles. But, regardless of the weather, you may come in your car if you prefer. Additionally, this New Year Celebration is open to all family, guests, other GWRRA Chapters and other motorcycle groups. I do need to provide a count of the number of diners to the facility by December 15. As such, if you would like to join us, please provide Janel with the number of folks you will be bringing. The menu has not yet been planned for New Years, but it is expected to include all the traditional items and sides. As the menu has not yet been determined, neither has the price, however it is expected to be about $18 per person. Everyone is responsible for the cost of their own meal!! Entrance to the park is FREE! At the gate, you simply need to tell the attendant that you are dining at the lodge. We may add a couple of departure/pick-up locations… depending on the interest that we receive. Currently, however, we have the single departure location of the Burger King/Circle K located at the intersection of GA-211 and GA-124 (983 GA-124, Hoschton, GA 30548). Please be there by 11:00am, as we will depart at 11:10am.
